Collingwood is a destination club and that trend looks set to continue this off-season with a host of star players on the Magpies' radar.
One is Port Adelaide superstar Zak Butters who is looking to return to his home state of Victoria, while another is two-time Brownlow Medallist and Brisbane premiership player Lachie Neale.
Speaking to 3AW on Friday, Collingwood star Isaac Quaynor revealed what his pitch would be to attract players to the club.
"Do you want to play in front of 80,000 every week?" Quaynor said.
"I feel like that's one of the best things about being at the Pies. It's such a well connected club.
"I feel like once a Pie, always a Pie. It has that family vibe, which I really resonate with. I grew up a Collingwood fan so I'm living that dream. We always compete and that's something, Zak is a winner, he wants to win and I think that's a draw card for sure."
Quaynor missed Friday night's four-point victory over North Melbourne due to a sprained ankle but he is hoping to return for next round's clash against arch rivals Carlton.
With skipper Darcy Moore consistently stuck on the sidelines with injury this season, speculation has grown over who will captain the club in the near future, with Nick Daicos and Brayden Maynard's names being put to the fore.
The question was asked whether Quaynor had any captaincy aspirations himself.
"I am flattered to even be named in that same conversation, but to be honest I think those two boys are two incredible leaders in their own right and I would love for either of them to be my captain," he said.
"I said the other day (I'm happy to) be their Robin. I'm happy to be the vice-skipper that helps out and plays an important role, but I think those two are definitely the standouts."
