Fantasy time of the year is always a very fun one, making your team from scratch with cash cows and premiums alike.
It seems every person you talk to has a few rookies they know are playing round one or a cash cow who is burning up the training track.
But for every player about to have a boom year, there is a player that will fall away or not live up to their price tag.
But who are those players? Who are the ones that will let us down? We have listed 10 names that won't live up to their price tag, score as well as some are projecting them to or just generally disappoint.
In no particular order, here is our 10....
2. Dustin Martin
AFL Fantasy Price: $713,000
SuperCoach Price:ย $541,600
Martin may be the game's best player but he is by no means the best fantasy option. While his grand final performance was very seducing, we must remember how Martin plays in the home and away season. He doesn't play bulk midfield minutes and he is often away from the football for a Richmond team that generally doesn't score that well.
Martin also takes his time to build into the season and peak in September - he just isn't a super appealing Fantasy or SuperCoach investment at that price point. He won't be a lock to score well and there are games where Richmond can afford to let him play deep forward sees his scores plummet.
