Pub summary
One of the most talented players in this year's draft, Simpkin is an impressive goal sneak, with the ability to move into the midfield.

Strengths:

  • Goal sense
  • Speed
  • Energy

Weaknesses:

  • Contested ball
  • Injuries

Overall

Simpkin was touted as a possible top-10 pick before unfortunately breaking his leg earlier this year.

He has since suffered several complications, pushing his return back.

But when he is on the park, he is a highly talented small forward. He was also being trialed through the midfield at times prior to his injury. He will most likely be used in the forward line early in his career, before a possible move into the midfield as he develops.

He has great energy and pressure inside the forward 50 and has a brilliant eye for goal and an impressive turn of pace.
