Overall

Kerr is the grandson of former Carlton hall of fame member Laurie Kerr. However, unlike his famous grandfather, who was a fast onballer, Kerr, is a tall forward.

He is quick on the lead and has a good set of hands, as he showed during the Under 18-Championships, where he took the most marks on the lead of any player at the carnival.

When he is confident, he is a brilliant shot for goal and he has a sound technique and is a real asset. However, if his confidence is down, he can be prone to having the yips.

He is also good at ground level for his size and may develop into a mid-sized third forward option as his career progresses.
