Overview
Bonar proved he was one of the most promising prospects this year after starring at the draft combine. He broke the record for the standing vertical leap and came second in the 20-metre sprint. It was one of his only chances to impress AFL recruiters after a pair of knee reconstructions forced him to miss a lot of football, including this year's Under-18s Championships.
Bonar has missed the best part of two years of football but worked hard with his rehab to get back to the top. He has a monster frame for his age, can slip tackles and can lay a bone crunching tackle himself. His strength overhead and clean skills, combined with some genuine x-factor make him an exciting prospect.
Has been linked to St Kilda with their dual top 10 picks.
