The Suns were shining in the first half of the season, with the young club destined for a bright future.
While many of their younger players stood up when it mattered most, 26-year-old Sam Collins led the team from the back after a strong 2020 season.
Collins ranked top five in the league for intercept marks and was nominated for the AFLPA's MVP Award and Most Courageous Award by his peers.
To cap off a fantastic year, Collins won Club Champion honours with the Suns after a breakout season.
