2022 AFL SuperCoach prices revealed

A Bulldogs ball-magnet comes in at top dollar for next season.

The prices for the 2022 AFL SuperCoach season have arrived, which will delight Supercoaches as planning can now begin for next season.

Bulldogs star Jack Macrae comes in as the most expensive player in SuperCoach, with a price nearing $700,000.

Macrae is coming off an impressive 2021 season, averaging a career-high 33.9 disposals per game to go along with 128.6 SuperCoach points per game, the highest average of the 2021 SuperCoach season.

Supercoaches who have subscribed to SuperCoach Plus are able to use a team picker to start building their teams for the season ahead, with the $10 million salary cap still in place.

Whilst Macrae leads the way in the midfield area and overall competition, reliable Sydney defender Jake Lloyd is top dollar for defenders, priced at $586,600, with other top defenders in Jack Ziebell [$585,800], Tom Stewart [$585,700] and Daniel Rich [$582,700] not far behind.

To no surprises, Max Gawn leads the way in the ruck category, priced at $657,400 with Sean Darcy [$642,600], Nic Naitanui [$627,400] and Brodie Grundy [$627,100] all viable options.

Apart from Macrae topping the midfielders, the category is filled with depth, as always, with the likes of Jack Steele [$685,800], Touk Miller [$677,800], Clayton Oliver [$672,000] and Marcus Bontempelli [$651,700] rounding out the top five most expensive midfielders.

The high-priced forwards are dominated by dual position players due to their increased value in two different positions. Another Bulldogs star in Josh Dunkley headlines the forwards, priced at $558,200, whilst Mitch Duncan [$540,000] and Tim Taranto [$529,700] are guaranteed to be popular options who can all be selected in the midfield as well.
