The 2023 U18 Boys All-Australian side has been revealed, with National Championships title winners the Allies having eight players selected in the 23-payer side.

The Allies have claimed five of the six midfield spots in the team, while tall forward Jed Walter and key defender Connor O'Sullivan commanding spots at either end of the field. Allies talent James Leake was one of five players named on the interchange.

Vic Metro (five selections), Western Australia (four), Vic Country (four) and South Australia (two) each shared selections also.

The forward line consisted of players from all five sides, with potential top-five prospects Harley Reid, Nick Watson, Zane Duursma, and Jed Walter all getting nods.

Tasmanian onballer and Larke Medal winner Ryley Sanders has been named as captain, with Allies mentor Mark McVeigh named as the coach of the All-Australian team.

MVP winners O'Sullivan, Reid (Vic Country), Daniel Curtin (Western Australia), Sid Draper (South Australia), and Oliver Murphy (Vic Metro) have each landed selections.

The team features three bottom-age prospects, with Draper, Levi Ashcroft, and Finn O'Sullivan all selected. Both Draper (Arlo at Collingwood) and Ashcroft (Will at Brisbane) could join their brothers in the AFL through the 2024 draft.
