Sydney have revealed AFLW captain Chloe Molloy will miss the remainder of the 2024 season after suffering an ACL injury.
The Swans confirmed ahead of their Round 2 clash with St Kilda that Molloy wouldn't play due to knee soreness, with the club layer revealing Molloy has hurt her ACL and won't feature again this year.
The setback puts a line through Molloy's season, which got underway last weekend against her old side Collingwood, with the 25-year-old booting two goals from a dozen disposals in the season-opening victory.
We can confirm that Chloe Molloy has unfortunately sustained an ACL injury.

Molloy missed the entirety of the 2019 AFLW season due to a Lisfranc injury sustained in the VFLW prior to Round 1.
The electric forward is coming off her third All-Australian campaign and second season with the Swans, having been named as co-captain of the New South Wales club after making the move north from the Magpies.
Molloy was a two-time club leading goalkicker with Collingwood and would lead the Swans in 2023 for most goals alongside Rebecca Privitelli with 14.
Molloy was replaced by Kiara Hillier in Scott Gowans side to face the Saints at RSEA Park. The Swans were already forced into one change, with Maddy Collier (concussion) replaced by Lara Hausegger.ย
