Adelaide key defender James Borlase will make his Crows debut this Saturday afternoon against the Gold Coast Suns.
The Crows officially announced the development on Tuesday, following senior coach Matthew Nicks delivering the news to the playing group in the morning.
Borlase, who found his way onto Adelaide's list as a Category B rookie, was tied to the Crows' Next Generation Academy, as he was born in Egypt and played football for Sturt in the SANFL prior to his West Lakes tenure.

The Crows, who continue to stage a finals assault with four home-and-away games remaining, are short-handed in the key-position defending sector.
Tall backmen Nick Murray and Jordon Butts won't partake in the remainder of Adelaide's fixture after sustaining respective season-ending injuries, paving the way for the 21-year-old Borlase to fill an area of severe need for the Crows.
Adelaide's meeting with Gold Coast is scheduled for 2:10 PM (AEST) this Saturday afternoon at Adelaide Oval.
