Adelaide forward Elliott Himmelberg has penned a new two-year extension with the club after a stellar run of form, per afc.com.au.

Himmelberg, 22, has been a key player for the Crows since returning to the side in round eight, playing a major role in the club's back-to-back wins.

Adelaide General Manager for List Management and Strategy Justin Reid said Himmelberg's rise in 2020 has greatly benefited the club.

โ€œElliott has showed some really good signs as an emerging key position player and back-up ruckman this year, grabbing his opportunity with both hands,โ€ Reid said.

โ€œWith Tyson Stengle also signing on recently, weโ€™ve now secured two young players who we see as really important parts of our forward line going into the future.โ€

Himmelberg debuted for the Crows in 2018 and has booted 16 goals in 17 matches with the club.
