Adelaide recruit and former No.1 draft pick pick Bryce Gibbs will wear the No.6 for the Crows in 2018.
The No.6 guernsey, most famously worn by Tony Modra at the Crows, was vacated by Jake Lever who moved to Melbourne during last month's trade period on a four-year deal reportedly worth just under $4 million.
Meanwhile fellow new recruit Sam Gibson will wear No.20, which was worn by Hugh Greenwood last season. Greenwood will wear No.1 in 2018.
Two other existing Crows changed numbers, with reigning best and fairest winner Matt Crouch set to wear Scott Thompson's No.5, while young midfielder Myles Poholke will don the No.10, which he wore in his draft year.
