Adelaide Crows superstar Ebony Marinoff has continued her dominant season, earning her first AFL Coaches Association AFLW Champion Player of the Year Award.
The Adelaide co-captain has been outstanding this season, polling in all eleven matches with three perfect 10-vote performances.ย
She finished with 91 votes, ahead of three-time winner from the Kangaroos Jasmine Garner on 79 and fellow Roos gun Ashleigh Riddell on 77.ย
Her AFLCA award solidifies her career as one of the league's best since 2017, with three premierships and six All-Australians with the Crows.
2024 has seen her reach career highs, with a league-leading 30.4 disposals along with 12.4 tackles and 6.5 clearances this season. She is also the favourite for the upcoming league best and fairest, announced in late November.
Adelaide coach Matthew Clarke said it was pleasing to see Marinoff receive the plaudits for all the hard work she's demonstrated

โHer consistency has been impressive, and she works extremely hard to improve herself and her teammates.โ
Adelaide are set to play league-leaders North Melbourne to open the AFLW finals series, with Marinoff searching for her fourth premiership medallion.

AFL Coaches Association CEO Alistair Nicholson congratulated Marinoff for a career-best year.
โEbony has performed to an incredibly high level this season - to poll votes in every match and three perfect tens is an amazing effort," said Nicholson.
"The coaches have a unique perspective on what succeeds in each of the games which combined with the thought that goes into allocating the votes makes this one of the most prestigious of all the individual Awards.
