Fox Sports' Tom Morris has reported that Adelaide is only willing to offer short-term deals to former category B rookies Alex Keath and Hugh Greenwood.
It is reported the 27-year-old's have each been offered two-year contracts as Adelaide prepare for a player overhaul during the off-season.
Both Greenwood and Keath are said to have requested contracts in the vicinity of four years.
It is understood the Crows are willing to let both players assess their options during the off-season with deals being presented by rival clubs.
Greenwood is believed to have garnered interest from Hawthorn, while Keath has been linked to the Western Bulldogs and Melbourne.
Both players will have turned 28 by the start of next season and the Crows are currently the second oldest team in the competition.
Keath, a former state cricketer, had a breakout year for the Crows in 2019 proving to be a crucial part of the Crows' defence in the absence of young gun Tom Doedee after he sustained a season-ending knee injury in round one this year.
The former Perth Wildcat in Greenwood only managed 14 games this year with six stints in the SANFL. A strong contested ball-winner, Greenwood has played 51 games for the Crows since debuting in 2017, a year in which he featured in the Crows' Grand Final side.
In other Adelaide news, Josh Jenkins will have his exit meeting over the coming days where it is expected the topic of trades will be raised. Jenkins and Don Pyke are understood to have an ordinary relationship and Victorian clubs are circling the forward.
Jenkins signed a lucrative five-year deal with the Crows back in 2016, keeping him contracted at the club until 2021.
