Richmond and Sydney have recently locked away some of their up-and-coming guns, committing to the future of their respective football clubs.
The Tigers' Rhyan Mansell has extended his time at Punt Road until the end of 2026.
Joining the club ahead of the 2021 season as a pre-season supplemental selection, Mansell has played 41 games as an energetic small forward, slotting 17 goals.
The Tasmanian has averaged 10.7 disposals and three tackles per game in 2024, booting six goals. He is also ranked first at the club for goal assists.

โI am grateful for the opportunity to play another two years at Richmond and looking forward to having the chance to build on what I've been able to do the past four years,โ Mansell said.
โIt is exciting to be a part of the future for Richmond.โ
Sydney joined the Tigers in committing to their young talent, with Patrick Snell (2027) and Will Edwards (2025) extending their time at the club.
Snell - who was taken with Pick 53 in the 2023 National Draft - arrived at the Swans as a Brisbane Lions Academy player.
Edwards joined the club as a Sydney Swans Academy graduate as a Category B Rookie following the 2022 AFL Rookie Draft.
The pair have been strong contributors in the VFL and are still looking to debut for Sydney.
Swans EGM of Football, Leon Cameron, said the club is pleased to have Edwards and Snell continue their footy career in the red and white.

โPatrick and Will are both valuable members of our playing squad, who have both played some quality VFL footy as emerging key defenders,โ said Cameron.
โThey have shown dedication on and off the field, and their hard work to push for selection at the top level has given us a lot to be excited about.
โWe are looking forward to working with both Patrick and Will as they continue their careers.โ
