The AFL has announced that ARIA award-winning pop rock sensation Lime Cordiale will headline the Telstra Pre-Game Entertainment at the 2024 NAB AFLW Grand Final, scheduled for Saturday, November 30.

The Sydney-based duo, made up of brothers Louis and Oli Leimbach, will take the stage during the AFLW's first-ever evening Grand Final, an event set to make history and further elevate the growing prominence of women's football in Australia.

The announcement coincides with Lime Cordiale's Australian tour promoting their latest album, Enough of the Sweet Talk, which has garnered critical acclaim and sold-out shows nationwide.

The group has a strong reputation for high-energy performances and an impressive list of accolades, including two ARIA Awards and over 500 million Spotify streams.

Speaking about their upcoming AFLW performance, the Leimbach brothers expressed their excitement.

"We're so stoked to be turning it up under the lights at the AFL Women's Grand Final. This event is so uniquely Aussie, and it gets bigger every year. Let's go!"

AFLW General Manager Emma Moore highlighted the significance of Lime Cordiale's involvement in this landmark match.

The AFLW Grand Final venue and start time will be confirmed following the Preliminary Finals, but tickets for the event will be available starting Monday, November 25.

The event will be broadcast live on the Seven Network, 7Plus, FOX FOOTY, and Kayo, ensuring fans across the country can join the celebrations.

With the evening setting, a headline musical act, and a fiercely competitive season building to its climax, the 2024 AFLW Grand Final is shaping up to be a must-watch spectacle.
