The 2024 AFL National Championships U18s Boys is ready to begin on Sunday, May 26 with South Australia facing reigning title-holders the Allies at Thebarton Oval this weekend.
The Championships will showcase Australia's best young talent, featuring the next crop of young stars from the Allies (comprising of ACT, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland and Tasmania), South Australia, Victoria Country, Victoria Metro and Western Australia.
The five teams will face each other once throughout the round-robin tournament, with the ladder leader being crowned the champion.
If two teams finish on equal points atop the ladder, the title will be awarded to the team that won the round-robin match between those two teams. If more than two teams finish equal on points atop the ladder, the title will be awarded to the team with the highest percentage.
At the conclusion of the 2024 Marsh AFL National Championships U18 Boys carnival, each team will select their MVP.
The Larke Medal for the competition's best and fairest and the All-Australian team will be selected by a panel comprising AFL Talent Pathways staff and AFL recruiters.
