Some of the top 2025 AFL Draft prospects will be on show in Werribee this weekend as part of trial matches for this year's Futures Boys game, with leading teenagers and familiar surnames set to feature across two matches.

Vic Country and NSW/ACT will open Saturday's proceedings at Avalon Aiport Oval at 10:45am (AEST), with some exciting 17-year-old AFL hopefuls set to compete for a potential place in this year's showcase game, which will be held at the MCG on grand final day.

The Victorians will boast the likes of Gippsland trio Jobe Scapin, Brodie Atkins and Zachary O'Keeffe, while teammate Willem Duursma won't feature against NSW/ACT, with players not playing in this weekend's trials still eligible to be selected for next month's representative game.

NSW/ACT will be led by Sydney Swans Academy pair Lachlan Carmichael and Noah Chamberlain, with Murray Bushrangers' Harrison Wilson also named and sure to excite.

The second match of Saturday's double-header will see Vic Metro host Queensland, with the latter littered with exciting draft chances for next year's class.

Headlining the list is Gold Coast Suns Academy flanker Zeke Ulwand, who is an early shout for Pick 1 for the 2025 intake. Fellow Suns Academy prospects Dylan Patterson, Jai Murray and Beau Addinsall will also be ones to watch, as all three have played at least five games at VFL level for Gold Coast this year to add to their bows.

Melbourne father-son prospect Kalani White has also been named for Queensland and is another member of Gold Coast's Academy, while Brisbane Academy talent Daniel Annable is another set to flex his prowess in Victoria this weekend.

Vic Metro have their own father-son prospect in Collingwood's Thomas McGuane, the son of champion Magpie Mick. The Western Jets prospect is another highly promising teenager for next year's intake.

McGuane will be joined by the likes of Lachy Dovaston, Copper Duft-Tytler, Tyson Gresham and Oliver Greeves in representing Vic Metro, with Gresham the younger brother of Essendon recruit Jade.

The game between Vic Metro and Queensland is scheduled for 1:15pm at Avalon Airport Oval.
