GWV Rebels and Vic Country forward Jonty Faull shook off an early-season back injury to leave his mark on this year's proceedings, finding the goals with ease across multiple levels.
Faull's setback kept him sidelined until June when he returned with the Rebels for their Roud 10 game against Dandenong, with the 195cm attacker having a prolific return with a five-goal haul to start his delayed season.
The Redan product followed that performance with two three-goal games before stepping up to the national level for Vic Country, which also proved to be fruitful for Faull.
The agile key forward booted five goals in three games at the U18s National Championships while averaging 8.3 disposals, 3.3 marks and 4.0 score involvements across his trio of appearances.
Returning to the Rebels for their premiership pursuit in the back half of the season, Faull's strong form was rekindled with five goals across his next two games before a quiet end to the home and away season.
The high-leaping Faull rose to the occasion come finals however, kicking four goals in a qualifying final victory over Geelong before a further five goals against Oakleigh to book GWV in the Talent League grand final.
He would end his season with 27 goals from 11 games, an average of 2.5 per game, to earn a spot in the Talent League Team of the Year.
Faull's balance of strong marking, contested dominance and aerial prowess place him as a threat inside attack when the ball is in flight, while he has proven in moments to be a viable ground-level threat despite his size.
Potentially earning comparisons to Sydney's Logan McDonald or GWS forward Jake Riccardi, Faull could be drafted within the first round or in the early stage of night two of this year's intake.
GWS, Richmond, Port Adelaide and West Coast are among the clubs that could hold the strongest interest in Faull with their picks in the top 30.

Expert Comments
"A tall forward who is agile and strong overhead with his vice-like grip. He recovered from a back complaint which interrupted his start to the year to play some outstanding football for the GWV Rebels and Victoria Country at club and representative levels." - Kevin Sheehan
