The 2024 U18s Boys All-Australian side has been named following the conclusion of this year's National Championships.
Carnival victors Vic Metro have led the way with the most selections, having eight prospects named in the 23-player team.
Top five prospects Luke Trainor, Levi Ashcroft, Jagga Smith and Murphy Reid have been joined by Tom Gross, Harrison Oliver, Harry Armstrong and Isaac Kako in representing Vic Metro.
Pick 1 contender Josh Smillie was overlooked for the side, fellow top-rated midfielder and Vic Country talent Finn O'Sullivan has not been named after an injury-riddled campaign. O'Sullivan managed to be selected in last year's All-Australian team as a bottom-ager alongside Ashcroft and South Australia's Sid Draper.
2024 runners-up Vic Country and the Allies have the next most selections with five each, while South Australia have three and Western Australia two.
Larke Medal winners Leonardo Lombard and Harvey Langford have been named on-ball in what is shaping up as a midfield-heavy top end of the draft.
Lombard (Gold Coast, Academy) is one of six 2024 draft prospects with ties to AFL clubs, with Ashcroft (Brisbane, F/S), Ben Camporeale (Carlton, F/S), Isaac Kakao (Essendon, NGA), Sam Marshall (Brisbane, Academy) and Logan Smith (GWS, Academy) all selected.
Allies talent and Gold Coast Academy member Zeke Uwland is the only 2025 draft prospect to be named in the side.
Vic Metro's Rob Harding has been named coach of the team, while midfielder Jagga Smith has been appointed captain.
