Six Next Generation Academy draft prospects have been placed on rookie lists in the aftermath of this week's National Draft.

Essendon, GWS, Melbourne, Port Adelaide, Gold Coast and West Coast added players from their respective pathways to their category B lists.

After acquiring NGA talent Isaac Kako as a first-round draftee on Wednesday, the Bombers will also sign fellow Vic Metro talent Jayden Nguyen - a promising 178cm backman.

Nguyen will add to a draft haul that includes Kako, Western Australian tall Kayl Gerreyn, Mount Gambier native Angus Clarke, GWV Rebels utility Rhys Unwin and Northern Knights ball-winner Zak Johnson.

The Bombers confirmed the decision to Nguyen earlier in the week, making the commitment after a promising year for the teenager.

Port Adelaide have listed South Adelaide prospect Benny Barrett on Friday, with Melbourne NGA talent Ricky Mentha and exciting GWS-tied talent Josaia Delana also earning list spots at their respective clubs.

West Coast have signed Subiaco's Malakai Champion to their category B rookie list, while the Suns have listed Academy talent Lachie Gulbin.

St Kilda have seemingly decided against listing linked defender Adrian Cole, with the Saints also going against having a spot for father-son prospect Elwood Peckett - the son of club icon Justin.

St Kilda decided against matching a bid for Lennox Hofmann at Pick 66 at the National Draft also, with the medium-sized backman heading to Geelong. The club remained committed to re-listing veteran midfielder Brad Crouch at the Rookie Draft.

Sydney's Joel Cochran (Collingwood), Melbourne's Riak Andrew (Sydney) and GWS' Cooper Bell (Gold Coast) also ended up at different clubs despite having nominations for the draft.
