The top AFL prices have been released, with two stars of the game becoming the first to break through the seven-figure barrier to begin the season.
Saints co-captain Jack Steele and Suns ball-magnet Touk Miller have both been priced as million-dollar men for the 2021 AFL Fantasy season.
Miller amassed a stunning 2021 campaign to average 122.1 points per game, with Steele narrowly trailing in his average of 121.4, seeing the pair enter the new year with the two highest prices following their unmatched output.
The rise in pricing has been a product of an increased salary cap, with AFL Fantasy coaches now able to splash $14,800,000 on their teams, a figure up from $13,000,000.
The new budget will be in line with that of actual AFL clubs, with the cheapest rookies also seeing their price jacked up to $190,000.
While Miller and Steele lead the way for midfielders, Kangaroos backman Aaron Hall is the highest valued defender entering 2022, priced at $914,000, with the next best defender in Jack Crisp ($854,000) priced $60,000 cheaper.
Max Gawn ($911,000) and Brodie Grundy ($893,000) lead the way for ruckmen once again, while Jarryd Lyons ($982,000), Jack Macrae ($972,000) and Tom Mitchell ($969,000) join Miller and Steele among the top five most expensive midfielders.
To little surprise, the top seven most expensive forwards are all MID/FWD dual position players, with Tim Taranto ($904,000), Mitch Duncan ($841,000) and Jed Anderson ($794,000) leading the charge.
