The return of AFL finals action has set up an enticing second weekend of matches as the competition now turns to a pair of semi-finals next week.
Geelong's win over Port Adelaide on Thursday night sees the Cats progress to a preliminary final, with the Power to remain in South Australia for a home semi-final against Hawthorn.
The Hawks kept their campaign alive with a convincing win over the Western Bulldogs at the MCG on Friday night, with Sam Mitchell's side now set to travel to Adelaide Oval and face the Power on Friday night.
The other side of the draw has seen Sydney progress to a home preliminary final following their thrilling win over GWS at the SCG on Saturday.
That result sees the Giants booked in for a home final against Brisbane next week, with a Saturday night time slot locked in.
The Lions ended the Blues' season with an elimination final win that sets up a trip to New South Wales against the Giants for a spot in a preliminary final.
The winner of that game will face Geelong at the MCG in a fortnight, while the winner of Port Adelaide vs Hawthorn will head to the SCG to face Sydney.
