Adelaide midfielder James Peatling could be in hot water following a dangerous tackle against Geelong's Oisin Mullin during Thursday night's contest at Adelaide Oval.
In the first half of the riveting contest, Peatling can be seen pinning the arms of Mullin, spinning him, before dumping him into the ground, leaving his head in a vulnerable position.
Fortunately for the Crows recruit, the Cats defender continued to play out the game, but was tactically subbed out in the fourth quarter for youngster Ted Clohesy.
Over the past few seasons, especially with a greater focus on protecting the players' head, the AFL has taken a strong stance on incidents like this
Despite the impact being low given there was no discernible injury and concussion, Mullin's head can be seen hitting the ground.
James Peatling gave away a free kick for this dangerous tackle.
With @RalphyHeraldSun reporting he is 'likely to miss a week.'
