The AFL's Match Review Officer has charged a total of six players from Saturday's Round 24 action.

All six charges have been graded as fixed financial sanctions, meaning no suspensions have been handed down.

Hawthorn's Jack Ginnivan can accept a $1250 with an early guilty plea for tripping North Melbourne's George Wardlaw. A failed challenge of the charge would see Ginnivan's penalty increased to $1875.

In the same game, Kangaroos ruckman Tristan Xerri has been charged for striking Hawks counterpart Lloyd Meek during the second term. Xerri can have his $3125 fine reduced to $1875 with an early guilty plea.

Meanwhile, West Coast defender Harry Edwards has been charged with careless contact with an umpire. Edwards can accept a $1250 fine with an early guilty plea, or risk a $1875 fine with a challenge.

Richmond duo Rhyan Mansell (striking) and Tim Taranto (careless contact with an umpire) have been charged from Sunday afternoon's game at the MCG.

Mansell's hit on Suns defender Wil Powell has led to a $1875 fine, which can be reduced to a $1250 fine with an early guilty plea. Taranto faces the same penalty for his actions.

Lastly, Essendon's Jake Kelly has been charged with 'misconduct' after kicking Brisbane opponent Eric Hipwood during the third quarter of Saturday night's affair.

Kelly's actions have warranted a fine, which can be reduced to $1250 from $1875 with an early guilty plea.
