Geelong and captain Patrick Dangerfield have decide to challenge the AFL Match Review Officer's rough conduct charge against the Cats veteran.
The Geelong skipper was penalised for a dangerous tackle on Blues midfielder Sam Walsh in the opening term of the Round 15 match.
The MRO graded Dangerfield's actions as careless conduct, high contact and medium impact, resulting in a one-game suspension for the Cats veteran.

The penalty will mean Dangerfield is unavailable for next Saturday's game against Essendon.
If he is unsuccessful at the AFL Tribunal on Tuesday, an upheld suspension will schedule Dangerfield to next be available for selection in Round 17 against Hawthorn.
