Star Crow Izak Rankine may be under Match Review Officer scrutiny for a frontal bump on Lion defender Brandon Starcevich.
The incident occurred during the first quarter of Adelaide's match with Brisbane at the Gabba, when the mercurial Crow hit Starcevich off the ball, initiating an accidental head-clash.
Starcevich was quickly aided by trainers, who took him from the ground for a HIA assessment.
The 24-year-old failed the concussion test, ruling him out of the match and next week's West Coast clash.
The result means Rankine is potentially facing suspension, electing to bump and causing high contact with high impact.
It would be an unfortunate setback for the superstar forward, who was previously sidelined with a nagging hamstring injury which interrupted the All-Australian form he has displayed so far this season.
