Dual-premiership player Josh Dunkley won't have too many complaints from the weekend of football, but has had his premiership success soured ever so slightly by copping a fine from the Match Review Officer.

The Lions midfielder was charged with a tripping offence on Swans tall Hayden McLean during the first quarter of Brisbane's 10-goal grand final triumph.

Dunkley can accept a $1,250 early plea or risk paying $1,875 with an unsuccessful challenge.

The now two-time premiership player is basking in the glory of his second flag against the Swans.

He was one of the driving forces behind the team's performance, winning 21 disposals and a game-high 11 tackles for the match, while tasked with the Isaac Heeney matchup for much of the day.

His fine was the only charge laid down by the MRO, with no other incidents warranting further investigation.

These findings mark the final Match Review of the 2024 AFL season.
