Port Adelaide forward Mitch Georgiades has received a one-match ban for an off-ball hit on returning Bulldog Nick Coffield in Saturday's clash.
The strike occurred in the second quarter of Port Adelaide's win over the Western Bulldogs, when the Power tall sent a forceful hand the way of the Bulldog opponent, collecting him high.
The Match Review Officer deemed the action to be intentional conduct, low impact with high contact, resulting in a one-match suspension.
The Power revealed that they accepted the ban, meaning Georgiades will miss the Round 18 clash against Gold Coast on Sunday.
Giants' skipper Toby Greene was also charged from Saturday's proceedings, copping a $6,250 fine for his strike on Carlton's Brodie Kemp in the third quarter of GWS' thrilling win over Carlton.
The hit was graded as intentional, with low impact to the body, resulting in a fine and early plea of $3,750.
On the side, Port Adelaide defender Brandon Zerk-Thatcher has avoided punishment for his accidental head-high contact with Bulldog forward Aaron Naughton, who was forced from the match with concussion.
The incident was accidental but clumsy, causing some speculation over Zerk-Thatcher's potential MRO scrutiny.
