Richmond key forward Jacob Koschitzke could find himself under Match Review Officer (MRO) scrutiny following an incident with Adelaide defender Mark Keane during the third quarter of Thursday's match.

Koschitzke can be seen throwing his elbow back into the stomach of Keane, to which the Crows tall fell to the ground in discomfort.

With the ball out of the immediate zone, the MRO generally don't take too lightly to these actions.

Koschitzke got away without being penalised for a free kick against from the umpires.

Off-play strikes of this nature have more often than not gone in the favour of the offender.

In Round 12, Western Bulldogs' Taylor Duryea was fined $3750 ($2500 early plea) for his behind-the-ball strike on Collingwood's Nick Daicos, which the field umpire reported him for.

The grading handed down was careless conduct, low impact and high contact, constituting a fine.

The Match Review Officer is set to hand down their findings Friday evening.
