A Tiger, Swan and an Eagle have been hit with separate charges by the match review officer following Easter Sunday's slate of games.

West Coast veteran Jamie Cripps was cited during the third term of the Eagles' heavy defeat to the Bulldogs at Marvel Stadium and has subsequently been charged for striking by the MRO.

Considered his first offence, the premiership-winning forward's strike on Cody Weightman was graded as intentional, low impact and to the body, leaving Cripps' hip pocket $3750 lighter.

Across town at the MCG, Sydney conduit Justin McInerney was hit with a tripping charge after the Swan brought down Tiger Marice Rioli Jr during the second term of the Harbour City side's loss.

Considered an offence that comes with a fixed financial sanction, McInerney will leave the holiday weekend having parted with $1875 for his sins.

Meanwhile, in the same clash, emerging Richmond leader Liam Baker was struck with a one-week ban for his elevated bump on Sydney defender Lewis Melican.

The Western Australian left the ground during a marking contest second quarter, collecting the Swan with his left arm.

However, with Melican seeing out the contest, and not undertaking a concussion test, the Tigers could well chance their arm at the tribunal ahead of Gather Round.

Still, with Peter Wright and Max King failing to have their respective bumping bans overturned at the tribunal just last week, there may also be cause to pause for the Punt Roaders.

Richmond is scheduled to face St Kilda next Sunday at Norwood Oval as part of the footy festivities in Adelaide.
