Round four was a wild one, with upsets, disappointing displays and resilient wins which has shaken up Zero Hanger's Power Rankings.

How did your team fair this week?

1. Sydney (+3)

Excellent win against a much better Western Bulldogs side. Although it wasn't their most convincing performance, they got the job done and once Buddy got going, they almost looked unstoppable. They should go into this weeks clash against the Crows as favourites in what could be one of the matches of the round.

2. GWS (+1)

Nothing to really note that was super impressive, but they got the job done against a weaker Fremantle side at home. They looked comfortable in their win, even without superstar midfielder Josh Kelly.

3. Richmond (+2)

Although the opposition was horrendous on Saturday, Richmond still kept the Lions goalless for almost three quarters of footy which is a feat in itself. Their defensive side of their game almost looks as strong as it was last year, with any fear of a premiership hangover all but forgotten. Dusty Martin again impressed with six goals.

4. Hawthorn (+3)

No one would have thought they'd be 3-1 after four rounds, but dare we say it, the Hawks might be back. They kicked 15 goals to one after quarter time in a dominate display. Injuries to Paul Puopolo and Cyril Rioli will test the depth of the Hawks, but with the likes of Ryan Burton in the reserves, they should be in good stead.

5. Adelaide (-4)

No one saw this loss coming, but the Crows were dismantled by a very systematic Collingwood side. Their tall forward line failed in the wet conditions, which left Don Pyke with no answers. Rory Sloane was smothered and could only register 12 disposals, while Darcy Fogarty, Josh Jenkins and Tom Lynch had zero goals between them in a disappointing night for the Crows.

6. Port Adelaide (-4)

They were lucky to get over the line against the Lions last week, and this week they were again disappointing against the Bombers. Very unlucky to fall this far down the rankings, but with the Hawks and Tigers impressing on the weekend it was an obvious choice. They face the Cats next week and if they fail to perform the term flat track bullies might float around once again.

7. Geelong (+1)

They did what they had to do against an underwhelming St Kilda. Brandan Parfitt filled the void left by the injured Gary Ablett, while Daniel Menzel is shaping as the biggest bargain of this year's free agency period.

8. Melbourne (-2)

What on earth happened at the G'? So good in the first quarter, but so bad in the last three quarters. It was a Melbourne of old type of performance, but take nothing away from an impressive Hawthorn. Lucky not to fall out of the 'eight', with the Eagles putting on a heap of pressure.

9. West Coast (-)

A big win against the Suns, with Josh Kennedy making an impressive return from injury. A team tipped for a poor season, the Eagles have surprised many already this season. They face the Blues this week at the G', which could see them push for a top eight stop in next week's rankings.

10. Essendon (+2)

Fancy what happens when you play an All-Australian defender in defence and an All-Australian forward in the forward line. Cale Hooker and Jake Stringer were impressive against the Power, but they need to be playing at this level consistently if they want to be the real deal this season.

11. Collingwood (+3)

They easily disposed of last year's Grand Finalist Adelaide on Friday, with effort and contested footy the most impressive aspects of their performance. Very much similar to the Bombers, the Pies need to play this consistently every week if they want to push for a final eight position, which sets up a much anticipated match on ANZAC Day on Wednesday week.

12. Fremantle (-2)

They were spirited and fought hard, but were eventually fell to a very good Giants side by 31 points.

13. Western Bulldogs (+2)

After an impressive outing against the Bombers last week, a Josh Dunkley dropped mark was all that separated the Dogs from stealing the points against the Swans. Their handball and pressure game looked back to it's best, with Jack Macrae continuing his dominate performances so far this season.

14. Gold Coast (-3)

They were dismantled by Fremantle and now destroyed by the Eagles in two successive weeks. After two weeks in Perth, the Suns are desperate to return to Queensland, with the Q Clash looming as a much needed win for both sides

15. North Melbourne (+2)

They blew the Blues off the park in the first half in a dominate display at their spiritual home in Hobart. Shaun Higgins was tremendous, while Ben Brown was also everywhere on Saturday night.

16. Brisbane Lions (-3)

A wake up call for the Lions after impressing in the first three rounds without winning, however to only score 17 for the game is appalling. They'll need to drastically improve if they wish to beat Gold Coast next week.

17. St. Kilda (-1)

Another tough loss against the Cats and St Kilda's year is getting worse and worse. In a year that had potential aspiration written all over it, the Saints need to start kicking straight and stop wasting chances if they wish to improve. They've kicked 19.40 in their last three encounters.

18. Carlton (-)

Very disappointing on Saturday, against a team that is similar to them in terms of rebuild and list quality. Losing skipper Marc Murphy before the bounce didn't help, but they never looked in the contest the whole night.
