The AFL has released the dates, times and venues for the first week of the 2020 finals series.

Port Adelaide will host Geelong at Adelaide Oval to open the post-season in the First Qualifying Final next Thursday night at 7.40pm (all times AEST).

The Second Qualifying Final will be held the following night on Friday October 2, with Brisbane and Richmond going head-to-head at the Gabba.

Both Elimination Finals will take place on Saturday October 2 - St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs will face off at the Gabba at 4.40pm, while Collingwood and West Coast will do battle at Optus Stadium at 8.10pm.

The Magpies will need to quarantine in Perth for seven days to play its first final.
