The AFL has confirmed key dates for some of the season's biggest matches, with the Showdown, Western Derby and an ANZAC Day double-header all locked in for 2022.
The league has also revealed a number of matches in the Northern Territory, Tasmania and one match to be held at Cazalys Stadium in Cairns.
The Showdown between Adelaide and Port Adelaide is set for Round 3, with the rivalry being staged under the Friday night lights for the first time in its history.
The Western Derby will take place the same weekend, likely concluding the third round of the year.
ANZAC Day is set to host a double-header, with the Hawks and Swans battling at UTAS Stadium, Launceston on April 25, likely preceding the traditional clash between the Bombers and Magpies at the MCG.
That match will wrap up Round 6, which will also see North Melbourne and Geelong feature in Hobart on the Sunday.
The Suns are set to play consecutive matches in Darwin against the Hawks and Kangaroos across Round 11 and 12, while the Demons will host the Power at Traeger Park in Round 18.
The AFL confirmed the Round 1 fixture for the 2022 season last week.
