The 2023 trade period is officially open, with the nine-day exchange window set to see a host of players swap colours ahead of a new season.

All 18 clubs are likely to take part in at least one deal over the week-and-a-half, while some clubs firm as key players in several separate deals.

Free agency opened last Friday and will run for one week, with a trio of deals already over the line.

Below is our 2023 AFL trade guide, covering each club's potential and confirmed ins and outs, trade rumours, draft picks and more.

Brisbane

The Lions have done well so far this off-season, with young midfielder Deven Robertson deciding to recommit to the club for a further two years while Adelaide free agent Tom Doedee has opted for a move to Brisbane. The only looming loss for the Queensland club comes in the form of fringe tall Tom Fullarton, who is said to be seeking a switch to Melbourne.
