Collingwood big man Mason Cox has been linked to the Sydney Swans, according toย 7 News'ย Tom Browne.
Browne reports that while the move has no significant traction yet, it is "one to keep an eye on".
Mason Cox / Sydney whispers today. Iโm not saying itโll happen. But enough people mentioned it to me, that leads me to think there may be something in it. One to keep an eye on

Cox was linked to the Western Bulldogs last month but the potential interest did not gain any momentum.
The big man triggered a contract extension to remain at the Holden Centre in 2021 on a salary worth around $550,000 after reaching a minimum amount of games since joining the Magpies.
Cox's managerย Adam Ramanauskas said on RSN yesterday that Cox was open to renegotiating his 2021 contract to stay at the Magpies.
โAn extension of his deal is definitely an option at the moment โฆ that has been discussed (with Collingwood),โ he said.
โYou can flatten out a (2021) deal. Absolutely, that is an option.โ
Cox made 11 senior appearances in 2020, with injuries and form issues hampering his season. He has 69 AFL games since making his debut in 2016 and booted 85 goals.
The American is one of several Magpies that could be on the move, with Adam Treloar, Tom Phillips and Jaidyn Stephenson also facing uncertain futures.
The AFL trade period ends on Thursday night at 7.30pm AEST.
