Western Bulldogs star Josh Dunkley has spoken out about his future amid trade links to Essendon.
Despite being contracted at the Bulldogs for another two seasons, reports have stated the 23-year old has mutual interest in joining the Bombers.
Speaking on 7 News Melbourne on Tuesday, Dunkley admitted that he was weighing up his options.
“I just got back to Victoria, I’m going to see how the next few days unfold and go from there,” Dunkley said.
“I think there’s always things to think about this time of year, like anything can happen but it’s going to be an interesting time and we’ll work through it.
“I’ve had some good conversations with ‘Bevo’ and the footy club so just see how we go and go from there.

Fox Sports' Tom Morris said on Trading Day on Monday night that Dunkley has concerns with the Bulldogs' leadership and culture, while also wanting more midfield time and a longer contract.
“He wants a more professional culture within the playing group,” Morris said. “He’s part of the leadership group and he’s pulling the club one way and he believes certain teammates are taking it the other way.”
Dunkley has played 78 games for the Bulldogs since making his AFL debut in 2016, winning the drought-breaking premiership with the club in his first season.
The AFL trade period runs from November 4-12.
