Geelong has knocked back Fremantle's first offer for lively youngster Jordan Clark.
The Herald Sun is reporting that the Cats have asked for Fremantle's pick eight in exchange for the 20-year-old. That was quickly knocked back by Fremantle.
The Dockers are keen to bring the Western Australian back home and Clark is keen to play senior footy, with opportunities at Geelong being hard to come by.
Tom Morris of Fox Footy is reporting that Fremantle put pick 27 on the table last week but the Cats flatly refused the offer.
According to the report, Geelong place a higher value on Clark due to his status as a contracted player.
Fremantle could leverage the fact that Clark isn't considered a best 22 player at the Cats and therefore his value isn't as high a Geelong may believe.

The Dockers will acquire more picks from Carlton who will likely part with pick 6 and possibly a future second-round selection for Adam Cerra.
The Herald Sun reported recently that the Cats were after both a first and second-round selection for Clark, who is yet to officially request a trade away from the Cats but has met with Fremantle.
Geelong is also facing the possibility of losing tall duo Darcy Fort and Nathan Kreuger, with the latter seemingly destined for Collingwood.
