Departing Docker Adam Cerra has officially requested a trade to Carlton.
The 21-year-old requested a move back to his home state of Victoria last month, with the Blues placed as the front-runner for his services throughout the course of this season.
The Blues are likely to depart with their first-round draft selection, currently placed at sixth overall in this year's count.

“Earlier today Adam informed us that Carlton is his club of preference to continue his AFL career,” Dockers football boss Peter Bell said.
“We’ll now begin negotiations with Carlton to ensure that our club receives adequate compensation for a player of Adam’s quality and character.”
Fremantle are also tipped to request more than just the one pick from the Blues, with Carlton also carrying picks 25, 61 and selections for the 2022 National Draft.
The Demons, and to a lesser extent Hawthorn, Richmond and Essendon, have also shown interest in Cerra's services this year, with the Dockers midfielder putting together a strong opening four seasons in purple.
Cerra has averaged 17.18 disposals, 2.97 tackles and 2.83 inside 50s across his 76 games for Fremantle.
Reports throughout 2021 have suggested Cerra's salary could be in excess of $700,000 per season, with the Blues likely to offer a long-term deal to the promising onballer.
