Out-of-contract Giants star Jeremy Cameron has reopened talks with Geelong, according to 7News' Tom Browne.
The development comes as the 2019 Coleman medallist was reportedly "underwhelmed" by GWS' latest contract offer.
It is understood that the Giants are refusing to budge on a five-year offer worth around $700,000 a season.
The 27-year old booted 24 goals from 17 games in 2020 after kicking 45, 46 and 76 majors respectively in the three previous seasons.
One of the game's most dominant forwards, Cameron is expected to command big offers in his upcoming restricted free agency.
The Giants are managing a tight salary cap, with Zac Wiilliams (Carlton), Aidan Corr (North Melbourne) and Jackson Hately (Adelaide) already set to depart the club in the upcoming November window.
The futures of former first-round picks Jye Caldwellย and Xavier OโHalloran remain up in the air.
