There is a growing confidence that GWS midfielder Jacob Hopper will remain with the Giants for a further two years following positive discussions between his management and Giants footy boss Jason McCartney, according toย theย Herald Sun.
Hopper, 24, is off-contract at the end of the 2021 season after re-signing with the Giants on a two-year deal in 2019, and is a high priority re-signing after the departure of some big names such as Jeremy Cameron and Zac Williams at the end of 2020.
Hopper put contract talks on hold midway through the season to turn his focus on his footy, as the Giants look to make a push into a finals spot.
