GWS have rebuffed multiple Geelong players in the latest talks over a deal for Jeremy Cameron.
According to Fox Sports' Tom Morris, the Giants knocked back a list of players including Lachie Fogarty, Charlie Constable and Nakia Cockatoo.
It is believed that Rhys Stanley's name has also been raised in discussions as the clubs try to broker a deal just two days out from the deadline.
Brandan Parfitt, Esava Ratugolea and Mark O’Connor has previously been touted as figures of interest on the Giants side, but Geelong seem reluctant to part with players from their first-choice team.
The Giants are reportedly seeking three first-round picks or two firs rounders and an established player in a deal.
According to The Herald Sun‘s Jay Clark, GWS rejected the Cats' initial offer of two first-round picks for the gun forward.
The Cats currently hold picks 13, 15 and 20 and have reportedly agreed to deal two of them for the 27-year old.
The Cats wanted a second-round pick back from GWS in the swap, something the Giants were not willing to hand over.
The Giants matched Geelong’s five-year free agency offer for the Coleman medallist worth around $900,000 per season.
