Collingwood young gun Jaidyn Stephenson has been traded to North Melbourne, as first reported by SEN's Sam Edmund.
The Pies have sent Stephenson, Atu Bosenavulagi and Pick 39 for the Kangaroos' Picks 26, 33 and 70.
Stephenson has played 54 AFL games after making his debut in 2018, winning the Rising Star Award in Collingwood's grand final year.
โJaidyn came into the competition and had an immediate impact and thatโs a tough thing to do,โ North list manager Glenn Luff told the club website.
โJaidyn has an explosive and electrifying style of game. He can be so dangerous in the forward 50 but he also can also impact through the midfield which is really important to us.
โHe fits into what weโre building here at Arden St and will add flare to our game.
โWe firmly believe he will grow even more under our program and be a really important player for us into the future.โ
The trade period ends tonight at 7.30pm AEST.
North Melbourne have got Stephenson and Atu Bosenavulagi and pick 39 from Pies for 26, 33 and 70. So effectively the Kangaroos have turned Ben Brown into Stephenson and Bosenavulagi.
