Ben Brown is officially a Demon after being traded from North Melbourne.
As first reported by SEN's Sam Edmund, Brown has been sent to Melbourne along with Pick 28 and a future fourth rounder in exchange for the Demons' Picks 26 and 33.
It is believed that the two picks North receive in the deal will be used as part of a trade to acquire Collingwood's Jaidyn Stephenson.
Brown has agreed to a four-year deal with Melbourne which will tie him to the club until the end of 2024.
โWe are excited to have Ben join us,โ Dems GM of Football Josh Mahoney told the club website.
โHe is a proven goal kicker and we think he is the perfect type of player to work alongside our other forwards with his height, football smarts and experience.
โWe were impressed during this process by Benโs determination to succeed and also his excitement about joining Melbourne and being part of our club.โ
The AFL trade period ends at 7.30pm tonight AEST.

Ben Brown deal done to Melbourne. I've been told North get the Dees' 26 and 33 in return, along with a future 4th round pick. North give back pick 28 and their own future 4th. Believe those picks North get will be used as part of Stephenson trade, who they will pay in-full-5X580k
