Carlton have been linked with a play for in-form Saint Luke Dunstan.

Dunstan has had a career renaissance of late with his recent form catching plenty of attention in a contract year. Helping the pursuit of Dunstan is the fact he may not be entirely happy with St Kilda.

Stringer reportedly knocks back Bombers offer

Jake Stringer has knocked back a new deal from Essendon, as per a report from Fox Footy’s Tom Morris.

Stringer, who remains uncontracted beyond this season, reportedly knocked back a three-year deal that included additional incentives. The 27-year-old has reportedly been seeking a four-year deal, which would see him through until 2025.

Essendon pull out of race for Giants superstar Josh Kelly

Essendon are understood to have pulled out of the race for Greater Western Sydney midfielder Josh Kelly.

The Bombers are one of several Victorian clubs tipped to have shown interest in the 26-year-old, who is a restricted free agent in 2021.

North Melbourne are reportedly leading the chase to lure Kelly away from the Harbour City, however according to The Herald Sun's report, the flashy onballer's chances of re-signing with the Giants are increasing.

Gun Swans defender Jordan Dawson has reassured Sydney fans that his future likely lies in the Harbour City.

Dawson, a South Australian product, has been previously linked to a return to his home state as he remains unsigned for the 2022 season.

Essendon urged to pursue Suns crown jewel Ben King

Rising star Ben King is hotly tipped to end up with his brother Max at St Kilda should he choose to leave the Suns at the end of his contract in 2022, but one commentator believes that the 202cm key forward could end up elsewhere.

Essendon, a widely regarded bottom four contender at the start of the year, currently sit 12th on the ladder, just six points out of the top eight.

Coming off a monster six-year contract extension for two-time club best and fairest Zach Merrett, the club is looking to enhance its stocks in order to become genuine premiership contenders.

Back-up big likely to fly Magpies' nest

Despite having only played three-games of AFL football, Collingwood's second-string ruckman Max Lynch could be seeking a move away from the Holden Centre.

The news has come to light after Lynch was surprisingly dropped to the club's reserves last week, despite finding the football on 15 occasions and winning 23 hit-outs against Melbourne's Max Gawn on Queen's birthday.

Lobb on Victorian club's radars

Fremantle forward Rory Lobb could well find himself at his third AFL club in 2022 if reports from AFL Media's Callum Twomey are correct.

According to Twomey, Lobb - a former Giant - is said to open to a deal that could see him depart the Dockers early and land with a Victorian club.
