Out-of-contract Bulldog Patrick Lipinski is reportedly being sought by both Sydney and "a big Melbourne club".
The Swans are said to be keen on Lipinski and were due to meet with his management this week, according to The Age's Michael Gleeson.
However, a mystery Melbourne powerhouse also looks poised to compete for his services.
Lipinski was taken by the Bulldogs with Pick 28 in the 2016 National Draft and has played 53 games during his time at Whitten Oval.

The young Dog has a link to the harbour city, as incumbent Swans recruiting manager Simon Dalrymple helped draft Lipinski in 2016 when he was the recruiting boss at the Bulldogs.
The 22-year-old has averaged 18 disposals and four marks across eight games this season.
With a host of elite Bulldogs occupying midfield minutes, Lipinski has been hard-pressed for opportunities this season and may look elsewhere in 2022.

But despite his reported frustrations, Lipinski has put off trade talks and is focused on getting back into the senior side.
Fellow Bulldog Ed Richards is also out of contract at the end of this year and continues to be of interest to rival clubs.
The 21-year-old Richards returned for his first game of the season in last-round’s win over the Eagles after overcoming a broken leg during a VFL practice match in March.
North Melbourne and Brisbane are intrigued by Richards and will continue to monitor him this year, according to reports.
