Interest in Swans wingman Jordan Dawson has reportedly reignited following further reports of Sydney's tight salary cap situation.
The 24-year-old looked to reassure Swans fans earlier this season that a new deal to remain in the Harbour City was imminent, prompting circling clubs to cool their interest in his services.
The out-of-contract midfielder, who hails from South Australia, is among several names at Sydney that are facing an uncertain future due to the Swans' reported financial limitations.

The latest developments have reportedly seen confidence spark with the Crows and Power that Dawson may be attainable this off-season.
Speaking on AFL Tonight, reporter Tom Morris revealed that both South Australian club have tabled long-term deals to Dawson.
“There was a time a couple of weeks ago when there was a belief he was going to stay at the Swans. That has now flipped,” he said.
“Both clubs feel like they are, to varying degrees, in with a chance to get him. They presented long-term offers on good money. The Adelaide Crows, especially, have money to spend.
“If he does ask to be traded to Adelaide – and that is a big if – the Crows are quietly confident they won’t be parting with Pick 4 – and that could lead to a very tense and interesting deliberation between the Swans’ list management team and Adelaide, if it does get that far.”
The Swans were believed to have offered Dawson a new two-year deal in recent months, with the contract substantially less than what the Sturt product could receive elsewhere.
An elite user of the ball and able to play across multiple lines, Dawson would be a valuable asset to either the Crows or Power.
With Adelaide looking to rebuild, Dawson could add experience to a young list while also having plenty of football left in his career.
The Power, who are one win away from a Grand Final placing, could see Dawson as a key piece to their puzzle as they look to hold onto their placing in a premiership window.
Dawson played every game for the Swans this season and managed a podium finish in the club's best and fairest, bringing his career games tally to 64 matches.
