West Coast wingman Jarrod Brander continues to face an uncertain future in the AFL this off-season, however clubs have expressed some interest.
The Eagles have looked to utilise the Trade Period to assess and gauge interest in the 22-year-old, with Carlton emerging as a keen suitor for the tall onballer.
The Blues have enjoyed a busy exchange window, acquiring Fremantle gun Adam Cerra, Swans midfielder George Hewett and Bulldogs defender Lewis Young, with further business now unlikely.
Since Carlton's interest in Brander has cooled, there has been little development in the situation that surrounds the versatile Eagle.

Speaking on Trade Radio on Tuesday, Brander's manager David Trotter provided some insight into his client's circumstances, revealing some clubs are showing last-minute interest.
“I’m hopeful something happens in this period," Trotter said.
"I’ve had a few clubs saying they’re having a bit of a look, but it’s getting pretty late.
"If he gets through tomorrow night and nothing happens, chatting to West Coast, they’ve been pretty good in that they’ve got some real depth in the key position area.
“If there was an opportunity there where someone gets through trade period, has a spot on their list they think Jarrod might be able to fill, then we’ll go to West Coast and hopefully they’ll do the right thing and he might become a delisted free agent.”
Brander played 11 games in the blue and gold this season, tallying a career total of 22 games with West Coast since joining the club via the 2017 National Draft.
