St Kilda has been linked to Collingwood forward Brody Mihocek as the Saints look to add to their impressive finals finish in 2020.
Mihocek was sensational for the Magpies in their elimination final win against West Coast two weeks ago, capping off a strong season that saw him win Collingwood's goalkicking tally.
The Saints surged up the ladder this year after heavy recruitment, with the club looking to do the same in the upcoming exchange period.
According toย Seven'sย Mark Stevens, St Kilda are in pursuit of the Magpies forward.
โIโm hearing St Kilda are looking at having a crack at Brody Mihocek - heโd be perfect there. Watch this space on the Saints,โ he said on RSN 927.
Mihocek could be one of many Magpies players to leave the Holden Centre as the club faces a struggling with their limited salary.
Midfielder Tom Phillips has reportedly been placed on the trade table, while star defender Darcy Moore has signed on with the club.
While the Saints are in the chase for Mihocek,ย SENย reporter Sam Edmund believes the Magpies forward will remain in the black and white past 2020.
โJust joining the dots, I think Brody Mihocek will stay (at Collingwood),โ Edmund said on SENโs Whateley.
โTheyโre just going through the particulars at the moment and heโs got that three-year offer in front of him.โ
Mihocek was drafted as a rookie in 2017 and has been on a below-par contract, with the forward now in line for a major pay upgrade.
