Essendon have joined the hunt for Greater Western Sydney young gun Jye Caldwell, perย SEN.
Caldwell has been a fringe player for the Giants in 2020, playing just nine games for the season and 11 overall since being drafted in 2018.
St Kilda have been well known fancies of the Bendigo product, with Essendon the latest club to ask questions surrounding the out-of-contract 20-year-old.
While several clubs are believed to have shown interest in Caldwell,ย SENย have reported that the onballer will be at either St Kilda, Essendon or Greater Western Sydney in 2021.
While Caldwell has held an exit interview with the Giants, the midfielder is still yet to decide on his future with the club.
Fellow 2018 draftee Jackson Hately has already nominated Adelaide as his club of choice, while star forward Jeremy Cameron is yet to decide on his future with the club.
